About the Project
Wedgewood Senior Living is a 217-unit, Class-A affordable housing community designed specifically for residents 55 and older in Northeast Austin. Situated on 11 acres at East Braker Lane and Wedgewood Drive, this project is part of the larger $65 million ASPIRE development — a joint venture between BiGAUSTIN and Banc of America Community Development Company.
The seniors this project is built for are the same people who built this part of Austin. They raised families here, ran businesses here, and built the social fabric that makes Northeast Austin what it is. Wedgewood Senior Living is built on the belief that they deserve to age in place — in a high-quality, affordable community — without being pushed out by rising costs.
Class-A finishes, thoughtful amenities, and a location with access to healthcare, transit, and services make Wedgewood a model for what affordable senior housing can look like when it is done right. This is not a compromise. It is a community that residents will be proud to call home.
